Yes — aftermarket window tint is legal in Ontario, but is regulated under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act. Certain windows are subject to restrictions as to not obstruct the driver's view or interfere with the safe operation of the vehicle.
Here’s what you need to know about Ontario’s window tint laws:

Tint is not permitted on the main portion of the windshield.
A small strip of tint along the top of the windshield is allowed.
